Team 33 Productions offers a one-year paid internship program for the most
promising students who complete the training program. The internship provides a
unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in live sports
production and work with experienced professionals in the industry. Here’s a
breakdown of the internship year at Team 33 Productions.
# A 12 Months Program
Month 1-2:
Introduction to the company culture and workflow.
Orientation to various departments and their roles within the company.
Training on technical skills and equipment used in live sports production.
Month 3-4:
Assisting with pre-production planning and logistics.
Assisting with setup, takedown, and maintenance of equipment on location.
Assisting with the production team during live events, including rehearsals and broadcasts.
Month 5-6:
Working as an assistant to the EVS operator during live sports production.
Ingesting and organizing footage, creating highlights and replays.
Assisting with playback and editing during live broadcasts.
Month 7-8:
Assisting with camera setup and operation during live sports production.
Learning different types of camera shots and techniques.
Operating cameras for live events, including rehearsals and broadcasts.
Month 9-10:
Assisting with pre-production planning and logistics under the guidance of a producer.
Creating run-of-show documents and production schedules.
Assisting with communication and coordination among the production team.
Month 11-12:
Assisting the production manager with overall management of the production team.
Assisting with budgeting and resource allocation for live events.
Learning about contract negotiation, vendor relations, and production team management.
At the end of the year, interns may have the opportunity to apply for permanent positions within Team 33 Productions or use the experience gained during the internship to pursue other opportunities in the live sports production industry.
